The role involves working with a broad range of clients across different sectors, taking responsibility for audit assignments from planning through to completion and working closely with Managers and Partners.
The role will include:
Leading audit assignments from planning through to completionPreparing and reviewing audit working papers and financial statementsSupervising and supporting junior members of the teamLiaising directly with clients and building strong working relationshipsIdentifying and resolving audit and accounting issuesEnsuring assignments are completed to a high standard, within agreed deadlines and budgetsWorking closely with Managers and Partners on a varied portfolio of clients The successful candidate will ideally: Be ACA or ACCA qualified, or approaching qualificationHave strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practiceBe confident leading audit assignments and supervising junior staffHave good technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standardsPossess strong communication and client relationship skillsBe organised, proactive and keen to develop their career This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established firm offering a supportive working environment, a varied portfolio of clients and excellent long-term career prospects.
