The Role: As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll provide excellent analytical and reporting information to drive the best commercial decisions. This role centres on directly supporting the sales and operations teams across our Contract customers, with a specific focus on social and new build housing. You will take ownership of analysing data, identifying key commercial insights, and drawing actionable conclusions and solutions.
Key Responsibilities Providing Business Partnering and key financial support to colleagues.Presenting the key themes facing the business at management meetings.Working autonomously to identify commercial challenges and market opportunities, formulating actionable solutions to drive branch network performance. Applying independent thinking to proactively analyse data, uncover hidden trends, and recommend strategic improvements. Acting as a trusted sounding board for sales and operations teams to challenge the status quo and navigate complex commercial decisions. You: You’ll live and breathe our Customer First ethos, with an innovative and agile approach to problem-solving. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider Finance team and you’ll thrive on delivering excellent support to the wider team.
Skills and competencies Strong demonstrable experience in business partnering within a large fast paced business.CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified.Ability to communicate complex technical financial information to non technical stakeholders.Commercial mindset with a solutions focused approach.Strong experience in Excel/ Google Sheets is a must with evidence of large data slabs and manipulation.Well organised, with the ability to work under your own initiative managing multiple projects at once.
