Head of Family Lawyer Position Overview:
Lead, develop and grow a well-established and respected Family departmentAdvise on complex, high-value privately funded family matters, including substantial assets and complex financial arrangementsShape the strategic direction and future of the teamSupport and mentor colleagues while maintaining high standards of client careGenuine leadership responsibility with strong opportunities for development Key Responsibilities of the Head of Family Lawyer:
Managing a varied caseload of privately funded family matters, including divorce, financial remedy and children arrangements, from instruction through to resolutionAdvising clients on complex and high-value financial matters with sensitivity and professionalismConducting detailed legal research and case analysis, liaising with experts, counsel and the courtsProviding empathetic, client-focused support and keeping clients informed throughoutLeading and developing the Family team, fostering a positive and collaborative environmentSupervising and mentoring junior staff, apprentices and trainee solicitorsDriving business development through referrer relationships, networking and marketing eventsContributing to the strategic direction and growth of the department Requirements of the Head of Family Lawyer:
