About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Transport Coordinator to join our team in Bamban, Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our transportation and logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Develop and manage delivery plans, coordinating with truckers and logistics providers to ensure timely arrivals and departuresPrepare accurate waybills and other necessary documentation for assigned tripsMonitor and track all dispatched deliveries from gate-out until arrival at the destinationUpdate and report daily delivery plan status, escalating issues to team leaders as neededManage relationships with third-party truckers and validate their billing statementsCoordinate with the Loading Group on availability and priority for loading and dispatchMonitor performance of delivery trucks and submit regular reportsEnsure compliance with food safety and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, ISMS)Update transport status in SAP system, including departures, arrivals, and other relevant eventsMaintain and update various monitoring reports, including bulk delivery, POD updates, and sales monitoringActively participate in all company programs and initiatives Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldProven experience in transportation coordination or logistics managementProficiency in SAP and Microsoft ExcelStrong understanding of transportation and logistics processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skillsExperience in performance monitoring and reportingKnowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO, and ISMS standardsFamiliarity with transportation regulations and documentation requirementsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong customer service orientationTime management skills and ability to work under pressureAdaptability to changing priorities and workload
