About this role
PhysAssist Scribes – Mount Vernon, IL We are currently looking for candidates, who are interested in gaining medical experience, to join our team at PhysAssist Scribes in Mt. Vernon, IL. Our scribes work in the emergency department at St. Mary's Good Samaritan.
As a medical scribe you will do the following:
- Work side by side physicians as they see patients - Document the patient history - Document the physical exam - Prepare plans for follow up care - Enter x-ray, lab, and diagnostic test results
Physician Shadowing, EMT, Medical Research Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Phlebotomist experience a plus!
