MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (DESIGN SPECIALIST) Introduction about the Organization Elval is the aluminium rolling division of ElvalHalcor S.A. Job Purpose The ( Mechanical Design Engineer ) Design Specialist supports the design, development, and optimization of mechanical equipment and industrial layouts, contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement across ELVAL’s production facilities. Key Accountabilities Create and manage factory layouts as well as design general layouts of existing and future production lines Study, design, and develop technical solutions for mechanical equipment and steel structures, including 3D modeling and detailed manufacturing drawings. Make design modifications or improvements on development or maintenance projects Generate hand sketches Participate as team member, work effectively in a team environment Write reports and present results to managers Ensure compliance with the industry’s safety standards Maintain accurate records Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (4-year degree) 2+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment Good knowledge of mechanical design principles Good knowledge of MS Office Good working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) & Autodesk Inventor (3D) Very good written and verbal English communication skills Very good knowledge of machine elements design & calculations Expertise in dimensional tolerancing, GD&T, and precision measurements Attention to details About the benefits Our Company provides a dynamic working environment, in which cooperation and continuous learning are encouraged and career development relates to performance.
