About this role
The Production Lead will work closely with all leads and managers to ensure packaging efficiency and priorities within the packaging team, utilize/troubleshoot all packaging equipment and standard processes, and help to guide new packaging employees. Production Lead will also be responsible for all packaging and equipment. This role will be on site at our King of Prussia facility and hours will be Monday-Friday day shift. In this role you will: Support the Operations and Logistics Managers in daily operations Evaluate and ensure efficiency, completeness, and consistency of all packaging lines Communicate expectations and assign tasks to the team Train the support team on operational procedures to ensure constancy across our product lines Ensure machines are functioning properly and prioritize maintenance in alignment with the Operations Manager Inspect finished products visually and manually to guarantee accuracy and quality as well as auditing completed batches before transferring to fulfillment Lead the team on new projects and manage the daily schedule Perform support staff duties as needed Delegate tasks to support staff, including material organization, waste disposal, and cleaning areas Create and print compliant and accurate batch labels to ensure we remain compliant Utilize our seed-to-sale system, METRC, effectively and to government standards Receive and manage transfers from the production team Understand procedures for safely opening and closing the facility
