Job Title : Graduate Marine Engineer Permanent or Fixed term : Permanent Role Flexibility : This is a hybrid role, where you can work from home and one of our UK offices although we encourage our early career people to spend as much time around other people as possible. Location : In terms of location, this role is located in our Bath BMT Office. We are happy to explore flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Depending on projects needs you will be expected to travel to customer sites and BMT offices from time to time. This role requires full UK security clearance so you must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years. As a graduate, you can expect to receive training from our experienced employees and we will support you with your professional journey towards achieving Chartered Engineer status. We are looking for graduates who have the following; A relevant degree such as Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. An interest to work within the Maritime domain; Excellent communication and team building skills; Pride in their work and a desire to deliver a first-class service to our clients; The determination to further their career and gain Chartered Engineer status. Working as a Marine Engineer in this role will provide you the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of projects and research across both Defence and Commercial domains covering Ships, submarines and the wider marine engineering market. With the ability to influence your training and project experience, you will find great personal and professional satisfaction with BMT. As a graduate, you can expect to receive training from our experienced Engineers, who are also keen to support you on your journey towards professional qualification and paper publication where appropriate.
