Summary APD is seeking a CAD Technician to work in a growing mechanical engineering department. This position will assist with producing mechanical CAD drawings for retail, restaurant, public infrastructure and facilities, recreation, education, and residential, with a heavy emphasis on retail design. Excellent opportunity for growth and advancement. Provide CAD support in preparing construction drawings for new and renovated buildings throughout the U.S., under the supervision of a licensed engineer. Contribute to project success, working under the direction of mechanical design team members. Contribute to improving company standards, design and drafting tools, attitude, and success. This position involves prolonged periods of desk-based work and computer use. Other duties as assigned.
