Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to become an integral part of our practice, supporting the day-to-day running of our services and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The role will involve a broad range of general practice administrative duties, alongside providing medical secretarial support for one day per week. You will work closely with colleagues across the practice, helping to ensure that administrative processes run smoothly, accurately and efficiently.

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change in response to patient demand and service requirements. You will be someone who embraces new ways of working, identifies opportunities for improvement and contributes positively to the development of our administrative services.

Previous experience working in general practice is highly desirable, ideally with experience using SystmOne. Medical secretarial experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as the right candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in this area.
