Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer - Private Swiss Bank
We are partnering with a leading Private Swiss Bank to recruit a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join its established technology team.
The Role
Design, support and manage enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN and data centre networksTake ownership of the bank's on-premise network platformsSupport and troubleshoot Aruba enterprise networking, including switching and resilient network designManage enterprise firewalls including Palo Alto and Check PointSupport enterprise Wi-Fi, NAC, 802.1X and network segmentationManage routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, ECMP and Layer 2/3 networkingSupport modern data centre networking including spine-leaf, EVPN-VXLAN and IP fabricsOwn network OS, firmware and security patching across firewalls, switches, routers, wireless and load balancersSupport F5 BIG-IP load balancing technologiesMaintain network security controls, Firewall rules and vulnerability remediation Experience Required
Strong hands on network engineering experience within business critical environmentsStrong experience with Aruba switching and enterprise networkingExperience with Aruba 10K Switches would be highly desirableStrong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Check Point firewallsExcellent routing and switching knowledge including BGP, OSPF and resilient Layer 2/Layer 3 designExperience with WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs and network securityStrong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP and related network servicesExperience with enterprise Wi-Fi and Network Access Control (NAC)Knowledge of 802.1X, authentication, segmentation and certificate-based connectivityExperience with modern data centre networking technologies Experience within banking or investment management would be particularly advantageous.
Relevant Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto or Check Point certifications would also be beneficial.
