About this role
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Catering Assistant / Barista to join a busy catering team in Stafford. You'll split your time between the coffee counter and the wider catering service, giving great customer service throughout the day. The hours are Monday to Friday, daytime only, so your evenings and weekends are free.
What you'll be doing
Making and serving hot and cold drinks, including barista-style coffeesServing food and drinks to customers with a warm, welcoming mannerHelping with basic food prep, such as sandwiches, snacks and saladsRestocking counters and keeping displays looking fresh and tidyHandling cash and card payments accuratelyCleaning work areas, equipment and the coffee machineFollowing food hygiene and health and safety standards What we're looking for
Barista or catering experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is givenExcellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personalityAble to work at a quick pace during busy periodsReliable, punctual and a good team playerBasic food hygiene knowledge is a bonusIdeally you'll have a full driving licence and your own transport to get to the site What's on offer
