Pertemps are actively recruiting on behalf of Northern Powergrid for an experienced HR Advisor to join their People team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused HR professional to provide practical, people-focused advice and support to managers and key stakeholders across a dedicated business area.
You’ll play an important role in supporting a wide range of HR activity, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, absence, wellbeing, organisational change and learning and development.
Key Responsibilities Provide a comprehensive HR advisory service across a dedicated directorateCoach and support managers on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievanceAdvise managers on recruitment, resourcing and organisational changesSupport talent development and performance improvement plansProvide HR input into projects, change programmes and working groupsUse HR data and metrics to identify trends and support continuous improvementBuild strong relationships with managers, colleagues and trade union representativesWork closely with the wider People Services team and provide support to the People Business PartnerEnsure a high-quality, customer-focused HR service is delivered We’re looking for an experienced HR professional who can demonstrate: CIPD qualificationSignificant generalist HR experience within a large or complex organisationExperience working in an HR advisory or business partnering environmentExperience partnering with senior stakeholders, including at Director levelExperience supporting and implementing organisational changeStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT systemsA full clean driving licence Desirable: Degree in HR, Business or a related subjectExperience working within a trade union recognised environmentHR experience within a blue-collar or operational industry If you’re an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to work within a leading organisation and make a real impact across the People function, we’d love to hear from you.
