About this role
Your Mission In this position working 1st Shift (7:00am to 3:30pm), you will support the reliability and performance of Kurt Towers, workholding systems, and Palletech automation equipment through routine inspections, preventive maintenance activities, and basic troubleshooting. You will learn and develop technical maintenance skills while helping ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations. You may be required to perform other duties in the Manufacturing support area. How you will make a difference Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks initially under the guidance of senior technicians, supervisors and engineers but eventually function independently. Inspect Kurt Towers, fixtures, tombstones, hydraulic clamps, and workholding systems for wear, damage, or abnormal conditions. Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment according to established maintenance procedures. Assist with the repair and replacement of basic mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Report equipment concerns potential reliability issues to maintenance and engineering teams. Help maintain workholding systems to ensure safe and repeatable production processes. Complete maintenance documentation, checklists, and work orders accurately and on time. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards. Support continuous improvement activities and 5S initiatives within the manufacturing environment. Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to meet operational goals. Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures. What you should be good at Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Using basic hand tools safely and effectively. Following written instructions, work procedures, and maintenance schedules. Identifying obvious equipment issues and reporting them promptly. Working effectively as part of a team. Maintaining attention to detail and completing tasks accurately. Managing time and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning. Promoting a safe and organized workplace. High School Diploma or GED required. Technical school, vocational training, or maintenance-related coursework preferred. 0-2 years of maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical, or technical experience. Basic understanding of mechanical systems; experience with hydraulic or pneumatic systems is a plus. Ability to read and understand basic maintenance instructions and equipment documentation. Basic computer skills for entering maintenance data and completing work orders. Desire to develop technical and troubleshooting skills in an industrial manufacturing environment.
