About this role
Your Contribution As a Toolsetter, reporting to the Production Foreman, you will be responsible for: Plan and conduct daily tool changes and tooling maintenance whilst maintaining tooling records. Production support that includes updating data and reports whilst also conducting product and process audits. Ensure the production output meets the sales requirements within the plant’s capacity constraints. Manufacture the product to the customer’s and agreed company specification. To ensure that materials are cost effective and efficiently utilized to pre-determines standards with minimal scrap. To ensure that the Health, Safety and Environments standards meet legal requirements. To ensure appropriate plant and equipment is available to effectively meet present and future production plans. Continually strive to develop each plant toward World Class Manufacturing standard. Be actively involved in the CIP process (Continuous Improvement Processes). Problem Solving Activities (A3). Drive the 5S process. Your Experience & Qualifications The ideal candidate should have the following qualification and experience Trade Tested Fitter and Turner / Millwright /Toolmaker 5 years’ experience in a production environment Technical understanding – will be advantageous Personal Competence Attention to detail Must have a sense of urgency.
