To strengthen our Central/North Europe Semiconductor test field service team we need you, a skilled and motivated Service Engineer who shares our passion, determination and commitment to customer success. Key Responsibilities As a key technical expert, you will: Provide hardware & software technical support to customers and internal peers Install new test systems, upgrades, options and software components Troubleshoot and repair systems at customer sites and Teradyne facilities Deliver remote support for troubleshooting and repair Drive customer escalations, manage internal processes and handle critical situations professionally Deliver Service & Maintenance training as Instructor Participate in cost reduction and productivity improvement programs Document problem-solutions, “lessons-learned” and contribute to documentation improvements. Travel frequently within Europe and occasionally globally. All About You 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry or another advanced technical environment Education in Electronics/Mechatronics (apprenticeship/associate; bachelor welcome) Qualification to perform independent electrical work under German regulations (Elektrofachkraft or equivalent) Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint A proactive and self-driven approach with a passion for learning, continuous improvement & knowledge-sharing Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Initiative and accountability in a dynamic and evolving work environment Fluent English (written & spoken); German very recommended or willingness to develop Valid EU driver’s license.
