Mandatory: Diploma/Certification in Industrial Safety (Govt. approved). 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering/chemical/battery industry environment. Strong knowledge of EHS statutory requirements and shop‑floor safety practices. Job Description Implement and monitor all EHS systems as per statutory requirements and company standards. Conduct daily safety inspections, risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and permit‑to‑work (PTW) audits. Ensure compliance with OSH Code, Factories Act guidelines, pollution control norms, fire safety norms, and environmental regulations. Support incident reporting, root cause analysis (RCA), and closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Conduct toolbox talks, safety trainings, induction programs, and awareness sessions for employees and contract workforce. Monitor contractor safety compliance, PPE usage, and adherence to safety procedures at site. Coordinate statutory inspections, audits, renewals, and documentation as per compliance calendar. Ensure safety readiness during machine installation, commissioning, and production start‑up phases. Maintain EHS records, MIS reports, and support ISO/IMS/OHS audits. Assist in emergency preparedness, mock drills, and implementation of fire protection measures.
