About this role
We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking Interior Trim planner to lead the introduction of exciting new products, bespoke customer features, and manufacturing innovations from concept through to production. In this dynamic role, you will be at the heart of product development, transforming design ideas into robust, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing solutions. Collaborating with multiple departments from engineering to production, you will drive projects that bring unique customer features to life while ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and delivery performance. What awaits you? Participate in design and engineering reviews, conduct risk-based evaluations of production processes and implement risk mitigations to streamline the delivery of new products and satisfy the defined quality standards. Evaluate concepts and bespoke features, assessing manufacturing feasibility, cost, quality, capacity, and production readiness. Develop, improve and industrialize new and existing manufacturing processes. Plan and deliver evaluation trials, prototypes, and initial trial batch production through integration of a stable process capable of delivering the required volume output. Lead purchasing and commissioning of new jigs, fixtures, tooling and equipment as defined by each project. What should you bring along? Experience in a manufacturing role preferably within automotive, aerospace or marine Knowledge of NPI, APQP & Project Management. Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues Interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams Preferable ~ degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Additional Information: Hiring Manager: Jack Way Grade: FLV Closing Date: Midnight on 19/10/2026 Recruiter: Malik Ajibola
