Purpose Statement: Supply Chain Solutions - Sourcing: Responsible for negotiating lowest total cost of ownership, terms for assigned commodities. Support sites in achieving customer satisfaction with associated cost, quality, delivery, and working capital.
Key Job Accountabilities:
• Obtain clear, detailed understanding of proposal strategy and communicate with the Commodity Team. Manage quotation requests with appropriate suppliers to ensure industry competitive component pricing within the requested time frame. • Understand the marketplace and maintain knowledge of the key suppliers and manufacturers. • Participate in Executive Proposal Review to address any materials related questions and/or concerns. Present professional approach to suppliers as required during the quotation process. • Establish and maintain relationships with key manufacturers and matrix suppliers to ensure Plexus Corporation receives registered and/or contracted pricing for all applicable components.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

• Procurement, supply chain, distribution, and logistics competence • Strong experience driving KPIs • Demonstrated commodity management expertise • Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization • Strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities • Continuous improvement mindset • Project management experience
Physical Requirements:
• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
