Job SummaryOrganizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Ramey Sector, Law Enforcement Operational Programs, located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. QualificationsExperience: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Preparing scripts, creating electronic graphics to enhance presentations, editing videos for roll in and review and evaluating and editing finished products. Directing video productions in the sector to include lighting and other aspects of production design, conceiving visuals, selecting music and sound effects, and selecting and directing cameras and movement during filming, editing videos, etc. Maintaining and upgrading audiovisual equipment and related software. Creating and maintaining an existing database of video imagery used for distribution as secondary footage that visually supports the primary footage in the video project (B-Roll) to media outlets. Major DutiesAs an Audio Visual Production Specialist, you will support agency informational and messaging media production projects including program oversight for all facets of media productions projects to include audio, video, photography, graphic design, and management of operations. This position starts at a salary of $102,246.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $132,923.00 (GS-12, Step 10). Salary above excludes COLA.
