Position Title: Part-time Faculty, Honors College Position Type: Fixed Term (Fixed Term) About the Role: The Honors College at NKU is seeking part-time adjunct faculty. Faculty members will teach honors courses. These positions report to the Associate Dean of the Honors College. Duties:
• Teach between three and nine hours (1-3 classes) of college writing and/or reading per semester.
• Provide support to students through office hours.
• Align assignments and curriculum with programmatic and university student learning outcomes.
Required Education and Skills:
• Master’s or PhD
• 3-5 years experience teaching writing/reading at the college level and working with first-year college students
• Experience with interdisciplinary research and learning
• Ability to teach face-to-face at NKU’s Highland Heights campus
• Experience teaching writing/reading and/or working with first-year college students
The pay for a three-credit varies slightly based on years of experience and education but is projected to be between $2700 and $3000 per three-credit course.
