VCA Santa Margarita Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time! Our primary care practice is in the heart of the beautiful city of Rancho Santa Margarita. As a three-doctor hospital, we offer wellness and sick visits, general surgery and dentistry, in-house laboratory and radiology, and reference laboratory services.
BONUS: $3,000 for qualified candidates Salary: $ 25 - $ 29 / hour SCHEDULE : Full-Time, Five days a week including 1 weekend day a week LOCATION: 30052 Santa Margarita Pkwy, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688 We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our amazing team where we focus on patient care and the client experience.
Duties may include:
• Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring • Surgery prep and Assisting • Dental Scaling, Cleaning, Polishing & Radiographs • Patient Recovery • Animal Restraint • Subcutaneous, Intramuscular, and Intravenous injections • Administering Medications & Subcutaneous Fluids • Venipuncture and IV Catheterization • Technician Appointments • Filling Prescriptions • Diagnostic Radiographs • Monitoring Hospitalized Patients • Client Communication Benefits: We offer competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and paid vacation/sick days, 401(k), generous employee pet discounts and more!
