DEPARTMENT: Talent
REPORTS TO: Talent Effectiveness Manager
Make Every First Day Count. Welcome Our Newest Associates. Every Guest experience at Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley begins with an Associate who feels welcomed, prepared, and connected to our purpose. As the Onboarding Specialist, you will often be the first face our new Associates meet — leading the orientation and Guest Service training that sets the tone for their entire journey with us. This is a part-time position working three (3) to four (4) days per week, with time at both Mille Lacs and Hinckley properties each week. You will facilitate all New Hire Orientation for our new Associates, deliver our ATC (Associates That Care) guest service training once a month or as needed, and partner with hiring managers, Strategic Partners, and the Talent team so every new Associate starts strong — informed, confident, and ready to create experiences that are Friendly, Effortless, Fun, and Memorable. • Coordinate with presenters and partner departments who contribute to orientation, keeping the agenda on time and the experience consistent between properties. ATC Training

• Support new Associate documentation and data accuracy in internal HRIS systems, maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
• Provide reporting on orientation and training attendance, completion, and feedback to the Talent team and leadership. Continuous Improvement
• Gather feedback from new Associates and leaders, and recommend improvements to orientation content, delivery, and the overall onboarding experience.
• Partner with the Talent team to keep training materials aligned with current policies, SOPs, and brand standards.
