Job Description:
The Value Stream Manager is a valued member of the Factory Management Team. They are accountable for the site operations, deployment of the site strategy, and leader the Team Management group, that directly lead our factory floor associates.
This role is expected to facilitate, co-ordinate, prioritise, and communicate all operational activities to achieve the relevant KPI's across Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost, People and Environment. This role manages and develops the team management group foster a high level of team engagement and culture.
What would be your key responsibilities?
• Drive key metrics for the Chocolate business to deliver operational excellence including safety, quality, customer service levels and efficiencies. • Lead and drive a continuous improvement environment with a natural approach to achieve strategic operational opportunities. • Focus on appropriate Performance Management to ensure role clarity for both individuals and teams, facilitating a high performing culture. • Manage Capital Investment Projects within own Value stream, in conjunction with the Engineering team. • Lead and develop a team of 5 direct and indirect of 100 Associates within the value stream.
What are we looking for?
• Extensive experience in a similar leadership role within FMCG, Pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment is essential. • Knowledge of Factory Operations, Supply, Safety, Quality and Excellence Operations Models. • Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills with effective and influential communication style and approach. • Proven ability to lead and manage large operations teams, managing people matters and performance levels.
You will be analytical and influential with the ability to think creatively to solve problems and provide value stream recommendations with an impact.
