Who you are: <ul><li>You're a Frontend team leader who genuinely enjoys the people side of the job: growing engineers, building high-performing teams, and leading distributed organizations.</li><li>You're comfortable with leading talented and experienced people - empowering, listening, learning from and embracing ideas other than your own.</li><li>You thrive in fast-moving environments where ownership is real, decisions are made quickly, and teams are empowered to execute.</li><li>You balance technical depth with leadership responsibilities, staying close enough to the code to make strong architectural and engineering decisions.</li><li>You think like a product-minded engineering leader, care deeply about user experience and quality, and know how to translate business goals into impactful engineering outcomes.</li></ul> What you’ll do: <ul><li>Lead, mentor, listen to and grow a distributed team of frontend and mobile engineers - driving technical excellence, clarity of direction, and consistent delivery.</li><li>Drive technical decisions and architecture in tight collaboration with the Frontend tech lead.</li><li>Architect and develop our web clients using modern tools and agentic AI.</li><li>Own the React frontend, driving its direction and evolution within a mixed codebase.</li><li>Evolve frontend infrastructure and tooling to support scale, quality and uptime.</li><li>Partner with Product to prioritize effectively and deliver high-impact outcomes.</li></ul><br><br> What you bring: <ul><li>7+ years of production frontend development, with strong hands-on React experience.</li><li>2+ years of experience managing or leading an engineering team.</li><li>Startup experience - comfortable with fast iteration, deep ownership, and ambiguity.</li><li>Solid command of frontend build, testing, and deployment tooling.</li><li>Ability to navigate and ramp up on mixed or unfamiliar codebases quickly.</li><li>A sharp eye for UX and a feel for clean design.</li><li>Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.</li></ul><strong><span style="color:rgb(41,105,176);"> </span><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">Nice to have:</span></strong><ul><li>Experience with Vue.js and React Native.</li><li>Experience leading distributed or global engineering teams.</li></ul><br><br> Why Package.ai?
