About this role
We're looking for a Technical Team Lead to join our team in Ghent and work closely with talented engineers who are eager to learn from your experience and guidance. As a Technical Team Lead, you'll drive day-to-day operations - prioritising, planning and delivering impactful work. You’ll also be the go-to person for the broader organisation, aligning with customers, delivery teams and other engineering squads on timelines and requirements. What you’ll do: Mentor across levels : Provide constructive feedback, conduct code reviews, and offer technical guidance to junior engineers and peers alike. Lead system design : Take ownership in designing new software systems and optimising existing ones for performance and cost-efficiency. Champion best practices : Promote high standards in software development, testing methodologies, and streamlined engineering processes. Shape strategic direction : Contribute to project roadmaps, risk assessments, and ensure timely, high-quality execution. Collaborate cross-functionally : Work closely with product teams to understand and translate requirements into reliable solutions. Grow your people : Define growth goals for your direct reports and actively coach them to reach their potential.
