The team/project: The Mass Market Product Team develops the services Swiss households love most: Swisscom blue TV, Swisscom myCloud, Swisscom Email, Swisscom myAI and all internet products (routers, WiFi Boxes etc.). We are a motivated group that strives for the best user experience with the right technology while keeping costs in check. This role is part of the Client SW subgroup within MMP. The subgroup delivers all frontends for our services: TV Box, Smart TV Apps, iOS/Android Apps, Web Apps and more. As a Senior Software Engineer for Smart TV you will: Design, build, test, improve and maintain the Swisscom blue TV smart TV App, a React based web application running on Samsung, LG, Philips smart TVs and Android WebView based TV Boxes. Develop and optimize UI heavy frontends within a large scale NX monorepo using React, TypeScript and Redux Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, backend engineers and streaming specialists in a cross functional team Test your deliveries and ensure performance, reliability and visual quality on constrained smart TV platforms are living-room grade.
