About this role
As a development engineer, you will be a key part of our Mechanical Hardware Design team to bring your own ideas to the CAD design of new products. Together with our world-class team, currently 9 team members, you will take an empowering role: pushing the boundaries of drone technologies. You will be working closely with stakeholders from the Electronics, Prototyping and System Test department to solve complex problems in a goal-oriented manner and drive innovation. Development of mechanical systems to Quantum-Systems - your mission will be a powerful impact. What is your Day to Day Mission: Development and design of UAV structural components and manufacturing tools (CATIA V5) Design and calculation (MATLAB, Python, VB.NET, Excel) Creation of technical drawings and manufacturing documents Integration of subsystems and payload in UAV on the hardware level Construction and testing of prototypes and support of small series production Product maintenance Development of the process chain of the Mechanical Hardware Design department
