About this role

Company: IPS Group, Inc., a Nayax company, is a design, engineering and manufacturing company focused on low-power wireless telecommunications and parking technologies. IPS invented the credit card-enabled, solar-powered single-space parking meter and today offers a fully integrated smart parking ecosystem. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in San Diego, where it manufactures its products locally, IPS manages more than 250,000 parking spaces across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

The IPS platform includes single-space smart meters and vehicle detection sensors, multi-space pay stations and upgrade kits, the Elevate platform, digital payments (mobile app and text-to-pay), enforcement, permit management, DMV data services, and smart cash collection.

In 2026, IPS became part of Nayax (Nasdaq: NYAX), a global payments and commerce platform operating in more than 120 countries. IPS’s leadership team continues to run the business from San Diego. Together, the two companies offer cities, universities, and private operators one platform for parking, payments, and EV charging at the curb.

Job Description:

As a Regional Account Executive, you will be the trusted partner for cities, counties, parking authorities, and private operators that already rely on IPS, helping them get more from a growing ecosystem of parking software, payments, and services. You will own a regional portfolio, learn what each customer is trying to achieve, and turn that insight into renewals and expansion across the IPS and Nayax platform. Your work shapes how communities manage their curbs and how IPS grows as part of Nayax.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Grow the value each customer gets from the IPS smart parking ecosystem. The Account Executive positions IPS as a long-term technology and services partner rather than a hardware vendor, moving each account toward a connected suite of software, payments, data, and services built on IPS hardware.

• Customer success and retention: Act as a trusted advisor who helps every customer achieve measurable results with IPS, building lasting partnerships that carry existing agreements through renewal and extension.

• Software and services adoption: Expand each customer’s use of the IPS software and services suite, including Elevate, enforcement, permit management, DMV data services, and digital payments, and connect these solutions into one integrated ecosystem where data, payments, and operations work together.

• Nayax payments and curb services: Introduce payment processing, EV charging, and other Nayax offerings that broaden IPS’s role at the curb.

• Hardware as the foundation: Keep each customer’s technology current and suited to their goals, recommending the right solutions and upgrades to support the services they rely on.

• Recurring revenue growth: Grow the long-term value of every account by increasing adoption of recurring software, services, and payment solutions, strengthening retention and lifetime customer value across the portfolio.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Own relationships across an assigned regional portfolio as each customer’s primary point of contact and liaison with IPS, from day-to-day staff to department heads, finance, and city leadership.

• Coordinate issue resolution with Client Services, Project Management, and the CSM, staying involved until each issue is closed and flagging churn risk early.

• Build account plans that map stakeholders, contract terms, whitespace, budget cycles, and contract end dates, so opportunities are proposed before procurement opens.

• Identify, qualify, and close expansion opportunities across the IPS software and services suite and Nayax offerings, using the MEDDIC methodology.

• Lead renewals, contract extensions, amendments, and RFP responses, including incumbent re-bids and inbound leads for assigned customers.

• Prepare proposals, quotes, and pricing within approved guidelines, negotiate terms, and manage order entry through close.

• Deliver business reviews, webinars, and presentations, and keep HubSpot current with account plans, pipeline, and forecast.

Qualifications and Skills:

A track record of growing revenue within existing accounts through renewals, cross-sell, and upsell.

• Experience selling to government, public agencies, or other buyers with formal procurement and approval processes.

• Comfort selling technology solutions that combine software, services, payments, and hardware.

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt to different customer personalities.

• Organized and dependable, with the ability to prioritize across a portfolio and keep a CRM current.

• Ability to travel 25–50% and a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in parking, transportation, mobility, curb management, or smart city, including familiarity with parking, enforcement, and permitting operations.

• Existing relationships with municipal parking and transportation leaders in the assigned region.

• Background in SaaS, payments, fintech, IoT, or EV charging.

• Experience with MEDDIC or MEDDPICC and with HubSpot.

• Familiarity with cooperative purchasing contracts and grant-funded projects.
