Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Packages: Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes, apartments, and businesses using a provided company vehicle.Customer Service: Interact positively and professionally with customers to provide a great delivery experience.Route Management: Follow a planned delivery route, which will be provided each day, ensuring timely delivery of all packages.Package Handling: Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, handle packages carefully, and use handheld technology to manage deliveries.Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and driving regulations, including wearing seat belts and obeying traffic laws.Problem Solving: Handle unexpected issues that may arise during delivery, such as incorrect addresses or package damages, and escalate as needed.Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, supporting other associates as necessary and contributing to a positive work environment.Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the management team. Requirements:
Age: Must be at least 21 years old.Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and carrying packages up to 50 lbs, and comfortable walking and climbing stairs.Technology Use: Proficient in using handheld technology and GPS devices.Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.Dependability: Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a customer service role.Familiarity with the local area and traffic patterns. Benefits:
