About this role
Park Avenue Coffee is expanding our roasting production team. This is an entry-level role within our roastery with the opportunity to grow into production roasting and advanced quality control.
You will be part of a hands-on production environment responsible for executing daily coffee production, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the flow of coffee from green to finished product.
This is a hands-on role in a working coffee production environment. The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, has strong attention to detail, and is interested in learning more about specialty coffee roasting and production.
This position helps ensure that every bag of Park Avenue Coffee leaving the roastery meets our standards for quality, freshness, and accuracy.
What You’ll Do
Production & Fulfillment
Package roasted coffee for retail, wholesale, and e-commerce ordersLabel, organize, and prepare finished goods for distributionPick, pack, and fulfill wholesale and online ordersMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient production workspaceRoasting Support
Assist with roast day setup and workflowBegin training on sample roasting and basic roast theoryShadow production roasting and learn batch executionQuality & Coffee Development
Assist with cupping and quality control processesSupport consistency across all coffees and roast levelsDevelop palate and understanding of coffee profiles over timeGrowth Path
Progress into sample roasting and QC evaluationAssist with roast profile adjustments and developmentTransition into production roasting responsibilities What We’re Looking For

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periodsAbility to lift 50–75 lbs regularly (team lift for heavier items)Comfortable working in a warm, active production environment
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Previous production, warehouse, or coffee experience is helpful but not required
