About this role
Responsibilities of a delivery driver:
Conduct a thorough pre- and post- vehicle inspectionLoad van with containers / packages at start of shiftDeliver products and *smiles* to customers in a timely mannerOn the road (OTR) up to 10-hour shifts, delivering to routes w/in a 50 mile radiusHandle physical work eg. climb in/out van, use of stairs, lift containers w/o issuePerform responsibilities during inclement weather conditionsMaintain van and fuel up vehicleReturn and document accordingly any undeliverable packagesBe competent and efficient on GPS device and be able to troubleshoot delivery issuesBe open to assisting in other capacities, as neededFollow designated driver safety protocol and proceduresWilling to assist co-workers in a supportive way Physically fit candidates must be (at least) 21 years of agea valid driver's license in good standing (CDL not req’d)comfortable driving a cargo van or larger and able to lift (up to) 50lb. packages.Must have good communication and customer service skillsExperience in delivery driving not necessary, but beneficialEligible to work in the USMust be able to communicate in English fluently We provide paid training, delivery vans and uniforms, GPS devices, all the tools and technology to make your position safe and a success, and continued support and driver safety monitoring!
