About this role
Our Bartenders take pride in their knowledge of food, wine and spirits. They build genuine relationships with guests, who often return and ask for them by name. With natural showmanship, strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail, they create a memorable experience on both sides of the bar.
In this hybrid role, you’ll primarily work behind the bar, preparing beverages promptly and efficiently while upholding O&B standards. You’ll communicate drink descriptions and modifications clearly with your team so every guest receives exactly what they ordered. You’ll also bring the skills to step onto the floor as a Server when needed, guiding guests through the menu, taking orders and delivering warm, attentive service.
The day to day:
Create a positive guest experience through warm interaction and consistent adherence to the steps of serviceMaintain thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items to make confident recommendationsReceive drink orders promptly and prepare all beverages according to O&B standardsPresent beverages clearly and in an organized manner at the service bar pick-up areaCommunicate beverage descriptions, features and specials to guests and team membersSupport the floor as a Server when needed: greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering attentive table serviceSet up and break down the bar area, dishwasher and espresso machineStock and maintain all bar products, including mise en placeMonitor and maintain beer keg and liquor levelsCount and record inventory of all beverages and supplies, and assist the manager with orderingStay informed of all special requests, including guest allergiesPerform other duties as assigned Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a similar environmentPrevious serving experience required; restaurant service is an assetExcellent knowledge of wine, beer and classic cocktailsExperience with cocktail batching is an assetPassion for food, beverage and delivering exceptional guest serviceAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift and move beer kegs, liquor and wine casesAvailability on evenings, weekends and holidays as neededLegally eligible to work in Canada This is a current vacancyHourly Wage $17.95 /hrAI Disclosure
