Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil, fit-out, and multi-disciplinary construction projects.Analyze project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.Develop competitive tender submissions and pricing strategies aligned with company objectives.Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure cost optimization and resource alignment.Implement digital estimation tools and maintain updated cost databases.Conduct risk analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities during the bidding process.Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and UAE regulations.Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, cash flow forecasts, and value engineering proposals.Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates to maintain competitive advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.Professional certification (MRICS or equivalent) preferred.10+ years of experience in estimation within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of market rates, materials, and labor costs.Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel.Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.Experience in tendering for large-scale civil and fit-out projects.Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and local authority requirements. (must)Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.Ability to interpret drawings.Understanding of value of engineering (cost saving opportunities)
