About this role
This entry-level position implements BIM and VDC technology to assist in thedesign and construction coordination process. Ideal candidate is a recent or upcoming graduate from an Architecture, Construction or Engineering program and possesses strong interpersonal skills, technical problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and enjoys working within a fast-paced innovative environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering, Mechanical EngineeringPrevious experience working in the AEC industry preferred but not required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Understanding of the main principles of architecture, engineering, and constructionBIM knowledge and interest in working with Construction TechnologyExperience in Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD. Navisworks is also preferred, but not requiredExperience in Adobe Creative Suite preferred (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore, P6 and/or Synchro preferred, but not requiredHighly organized with ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.Aptitude for working collaboratively with teams on projectsFlexible and able to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and oral communication skillsHigh level of professionalism, motivation, attention to detailResilient, positive, and confident character
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and audit 3D models from consultants and contractors in Revit, AutoCAD, NavisworksManages BIM Construction Process and ensures BIM Execution Plan is being observedConducts Clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks ManageIssue meeting agenda, minutes, and reports based on coordinationHold weekly coordination meeting with project team membersEarly design review and constructability analysisManages/Updates the organization and distribution of BIM projectsBIM and VDC Technology integration in the fieldWorks alongside Project Manager, Project Engineers, Superintendents to ensure projects are coordinated correctly and efficiently
