About this role
As a BI Developer, you will design, build, and support robust business intelligence solutions using Qlik Sense, transforming complex datasets into intuitive and actionable insights. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop scalable data models, and deliver high-performing dashboards and reports that drive decision-making across the organization.
What will you do?
Dashboard Development & Visualization
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Qlik SenseApply best practices in data visualization to ensure clarity and usabilityOptimize performance and responsiveness of Qlik applicationsData Modelling & ETL
Design and implement efficient data modelsBuild and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loadingEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and reliabilityStakeholder Engagement & Analysis
Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirementsTranslate business needs into technical BI solutionsConduct data analysis and troubleshoot inconsistenciesDeployment, Governance & Support
Support deployment, integration, and documentation of BI solutionsMaintain data security, governance, and user access controlsEnsure adherence to development standards (modularization, reuse, version control)Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement
Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team membersStay updated on Qlik platform enhancements and BI industry trends
The ideal candidate should possess:
Relevant certifications in Qlik (e.g., Qlik Sense Data Architect / Business Analyst) are advantageous3–4 years of hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development (entry-level candidates may also be considered)Strong expertise in data modelling, SQL, and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server)Experience in Qlik scripting and set analysisSolid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline developmentKnowledge of data security and access control within BI environmentsFamiliarity with Qlik deployments and lifecycle managementExposure to other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plusBasic understanding of APIs, mashups, and version control tools (e.g., Git)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred)
