What will you do?
As a Tech Lead, you will have to –
Lead technical delivery for complex projectsGet your hands dirty by debugging the issue with the teamCoach junior developments on good software engineering practicesUnderstand the business requirements and translate them into the technical requirementWork with upstream and downstream applications, infra and cyber team for integrations issues, design issues and troubleshooting of technical issuesManage internal and client stakeholderAssign work to team, track their work and able to complete your own work alongImplement best-in-class engineering practices using NCS standards. Collaborate with architects on solution design and technical governance. Ensure best practices, frameworks and re-useable components are employed in the project. Drive DevSecOps adoption and ensure application security compliance. Develop and review the low level design for the modules/services The ideal candidate should possess:
Due to government project sensitivity, we will only consider Singapore CitizenDegree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent work experienceProficient in spoken and written EnglishA can-do attitude and ability to work in grey areas.More than 6 years of hands-on experience in development and deployment of Java technologiesBackend development using Spring Boot frameworkFrontend development using React JS, Angular, TypescriptRelational Databases like Postgres, Oracle Database and MS SQL Experience with Docker, KubernetesExperience in migrating a monolith to microservices architectureExperience in CI/CDGood understanding of Windows and LinuxHands-on experience in basic monitoring using tools like Splunk, Elastic, AppDynamics etc.Strong hands-on expertise in the primary tech stack (languages - Java, .NET, or Python, frameworks, CI/CD, cloud, security basics) to retain technical credibility and make informed decisions Module design skills: designing services, APIs, data models, and non-functional qualities (scalability, performance, reliability) at module or subsystem level. Solid experience as a Senior Developer or Tech Lead in enterprise projects. Strong coding and design skills in Java. Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and security practices.
