We're looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive system infrastructure that supports our enterprise operations. Design, deploy, and manage enterprise system infrastructure across multiple environments, including on-premises, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native deploymentsAdminister and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related infrastructure servicesManage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and optimize virtual machine performance and resource allocationMonitor system performance, analyze metrics, and implement optimization strategies to ensure peak operational efficiencyDevelop and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity and resilienceImplement and manage patch management processes, security updates, and system hardening procedures in compliance with organizational policiesCreate and maintain PowerShell scripts, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and automation solutions to streamline routine administrative tasksTroubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical support to resolve infrastructure problems with decisiveness and transparencyCollaborate with IT teams, security personnel, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and best practicesParticipate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and technology assessments to support organizational growth and innovationDocument system configurations, procedures, architectural decisions, and best practices for knowledge management and team referenceProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environmentManage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities and efficiency Required Qualifications:
8+ years of hands-on experience in system administration and infrastructure managementStrong expertise with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory environmentsProficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere or Hyper-V)Solid knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IIS, and file/print servicesExperience designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutionsProficiency in PowerShell scripting and automationKnowledge of patch management and monitoring tools (SCCM, WSUS, or equivalent)Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, system hardening, and compliance requirementsExperience in high-availability and disaster recovery environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issuesExcellent organizational and documentation skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environmentsPreferred Qualifications:
