About this role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support network operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to resolve network challenges efficiently while staying current with emerging technologies.
Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure using industry-standard networking equipment and technologiesConfigure and manage routing and switching protocols to ensure seamless network connectivity, performance, and reliabilityPerform comprehensive network troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve connectivity issues promptly and systematicallyMonitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and optimize network efficiency for capacity planning and resource allocationImplement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access control lists, VPN configurations, and security policiesDocument network configurations, changes, procedures, and technical solutions in a clear and organized manner for future reference and knowledge sharingCollaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support network upgrades, migrations, infrastructure improvements, and technology initiativesConduct regular network assessments and provide data-driven recommendations for system enhancements and optimizationRespond to network incidents and provide technical support to resolve issues within established timeframes and service level agreementsStay current with industry best practices, emerging networking technologies, and vendor updates to drive innovation and continuous improvement **Required Qualifications:**
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in network engineering, network administration, or related IT infrastructure rolesStrong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, network architecture, and networking fundamentalsHands-on experience with routing and switching equipment from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent)Proficiency in LAN/WAN configuration, management, and optimizationSolid understanding of network security fundamentals, best practices, and security protocolsDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot network issues systematically and resolve problems efficientlyStrong organizational, documentation, and technical writing skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approachEffective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearlyExperience with incident response and change management processes**Preferred Qualifications:**
