About this role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Network Engineer with CCNA certification to join our growing IT infrastructure team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You'll work collaboratively with IT teams to support network operations while staying current with emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently and decisively.
Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure using Cisco networking equipment and technologies with precision and attention to detailConfigure and manage routing and switching protocols to ensure seamless network connectivity, performance, and reliability across all systemsPerform comprehensive network troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve connectivity issues promptly and efficientlyMonitor network performance and analyze traffic patterns to optimize network efficiency, capacity planning, and resource allocationImplement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access control lists, VPN configurations, and security best practicesDocument network configurations, changes, and procedures in a clear, organized, and transparent manner for future reference and complianceCollaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements while maintaining service continuityConduct regular network assessments and provide analytical recommendations for system enhancements and optimization opportunitiesRespond to network incidents and provide technical support to resolve issues within established timeframes, demonstrating resilience under pressureStay current with industry best practices, emerging networking technologies, and innovative solutions to enhance organizational capabilitiesParticipate in capacity planning initiatives and contribute to strategic network infrastructure decisionsSupport network automation projects and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency **Required Qualifications:**
Due to government project sensitivity, we will only consider Singapore CitizenCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certificationMinimum 3 years of professional experience in network engineering or network administrationStrong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture fundamentalsHands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching equipmentProficiency in LAN/WAN configuration and managementSolid understanding of network security fundamentals, best practices, and implementationDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot network issues systematically and efficientlyStrong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detailExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with VPN configuration and firewall managementKnowledge of network performance monitoring and capacity planning**Preferred Qualifications:**
