Experience: 5.5+ years of overall IT experienceStrong experience in CMDB, Discovery, and Service MappingHands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise CMDB solutionsStrong experience with CSDM, CMDB Governance, and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)Experience with CMDB Health, CI Relationships, Data Certification, and Duplicate CI RemediationStrong ServiceNow development experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script IncludesExperience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Update Sets, and Scoped ApplicationsHands-on experience configuring Discovery schedules, credentials, probes, sensors, and patternsExperience developing and maintaining Pattern-based Discovery solutionsStrong expertise in Top-down Service Mapping, Business Service Modeling, and Multi-tier Application MappingExperience integrating CMDB with SCCM/MECM, VMware vCenter, Azure, AWS, GCP, Active Directory/Entra ID, and monitoring toolsStrong experience working with REST and SOAP APIs for integrationsGood understanding of ITOM processes, enterprise infrastructure, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologiesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is mandatory; CIS Discovery and CIS Service Mapping certifications are preferredRESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CMDB solutions following ServiceNow best practicesDevelop and configure ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for business-critical applications and infrastructureImplement and maintain CSDM-aligned CMDB architecture and governance standardsConfigure and manage Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), identification rules, and reconciliation rulesMonitor and improve CMDB Health, including completeness, correctness, and compliance metricsConfigure Discovery schedules, credentials, probes, sensors, and pattern-based discovery solutionsCreate, maintain, and optimize Service Maps for distributed, hybrid, and multi-tier applicationsTroubleshoot Discovery failures, identification issues, duplicate CIs, and Service Mapping-related problemsBuild and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers to enrich CMDB dataCollaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, and Application teams to improve CMDB data qualityEnsure adherence to ServiceNow development standards, governance, and security best practicesLead technical discussions, design reviews, and provide recommendations for scalable ITOM solutionsMentor junior developers and support continuous improvement initiatives across the ServiceNow platform Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
