Becoming a nurse in our orthopedic department is a fulfilling and demanding career that allows you to care for patients in all stages of life. You will get to witness first-hand the dramatic recovery patients endure, and play a huge part in the healing process.
D4 Orthopedics is a 24-bed inpatient unit – that primarily cares for adults who have undergone total hip, knee, or shoulder replacements. Other patient populations include stable trauma patients, joint revisions, and fractures.

Requirements
Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.2 Years Relevant ExperienceDiploma/ADN + BSN in 5 yearsUpcoming Graduates may apply What’s Required
• Graduation from a state-approved nursing educational program
• Registered (or planning to register) to take the State Board licensing exam
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Clinical experience in a medical setting is desirable
• Medication administration and narcotic handling are restricted until RN licensure is obtained
