Patient Attendant Role Priorities
Safety: Never leave the patient unattended. Help prevent falls, self-harm, and removal of medical equipment. Do not physically restrain patients.Sight: Maintain continuous visual observation, including during restroom use and other activities.Say: Communicate respectfully, provide appropriate engagement, and maintain patient confidentiality.Summon: Immediately notify nursing staff of safety concerns, behavior changes, or when additional assistance is needed.
Required: High School Diploma or GED.

Strong communication and observation skillsAbility to remain alert and focusedCommitment to patient safety and confidentiality. Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
