About this role
We are looking to hire a software professional who is a self-starter and is accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate must have an understanding of mobile UI Design and fluency in multiple programming languages, application development tools, experience and willingness to work in Android and iOS platforms.
Responsibilities:
Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and supportWork with product and marketing teams to conceptualize, create new and innovative ways to improve mobile applications that can ensure excellent customer experienceGather requirements around functionality and translate into functional solutionsCollaborate with UI Designers, Product engineers and QA to obtain feedback and enhance mobile applicationsDevelopment tasks include: coding, testing, debugging, documenting, peer-reviewing, deploying, monitoring, and supportConsistently write performance-minded, highly readable code using OO best practicesCreate compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences3+ years developing mobile application for iOS and AndroidSuccessfully released apps on the App Store and Google Play (please include names of published apps)Excellent product and design sense with an understanding of mobile UI Design and fluency in multiple programming languages/application development tools including Java, Objective C, RESTful Services, Push Notifications, and JSONiOS:Experience leveraging the iOS frameworks to access native capabilities of iPhone/iPad, such as camera and location servicesStrong understanding of the Apple Human Interface Guidelines for iOSStrong skills in debugging any error/ crash in XcodeAndroid:Experience developing Android apps using Android SDK/NDKStrong experience in JavaUnderstanding of Android security protocolsStrong understanding of interactive application development paradigms, memory management, file I/O, network and socket programming, concurrency and multi-threadingExperience working with Version Control ToolsExperience developing in an Agile development environmentStrong understanding and experience in Object-Oriented solution design using UML and design patternsBachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical fieldKnowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery5 years of full life-cycle and iterative development, with a good understanding of test-driven developmentExperience supporting both iOS and AndroidEntrepreneurial spiritWork in a fast paced environmentDevelop and update new & existing mobile solutionsBuild prototypes and proof of conceptsWork with web developers to create and support mobile applicationsCreate compelling device specific user interfacesOngoing optimization to improve performance, fix design issues and bugsKeeping up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologiesExplain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholdersContribute to task identification, and work effort estimates for development and maintenance activities please email word copy of resume to
