Over all Experience (With Linux experience) 5 plus years. Hadoop Administrator Experience - 1- 3 years.
Job Description:
Day-to-day operation activities including, incidents, problem and change management.Day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting of jobs, problems and performance issues in Hadoop clusters. Linux administration and script automation. Ready for production 24* 7 support. MapR, MapR DB and HBase Administraiton.Investigate and characterize non-trivial performance issues in various Hadoop/mapr cluster environments. Must have: Linux Administration SkillsExperience in designing, implementing and administering highly available Hadoop clusters Experience working with MapR vendor ecosystems Knowledge of capacity planning, management, and troubleshooting for HDFS, YARN/MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Oozie, MapR DB, Machine Learning and HBaseUnderstanding of network concepts and experience managing host level network services Background with common automation tools. Stack-IQ, Puppet is plus.Background with a higher level scripting language, such as Perl, Python, Shell. Experience in middleware technologies Tomcat, Jboss, Kibana, ES, Redis is plus.
Basic Qualifications :-
Education: BS Computer Science / B Tech Computers/BSE Computers / MS Computer Science / Masters Computer Application (MCA), BE Bachelor of Engineering.At least 5 Years of experience in IT Services / Consulting/ Technology / Software Development
