Responsibilities
Safely navigate walking paths, businesses and residences to complete daily routes efficientlyLoad and unload packages using manual handling techniquesFollow designated routes using mobile devices for navigation, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulationsProvide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with professionalism and a positive attitudeHandle heavy lifting safely during package loading/unloading processes, practicing proper manual handling techniquesMaintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required by company policies
Experience
Previous experience in delivery driving or courier roles preferred, especially with warehouse operations or commercial driving backgroundsKnowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (such as pallet jacks), and heavy lifting practicesAbility to adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and safe lifting practices in the workplaceExperience with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery updates is advantageousStrong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and reliabilityPhysical ability to lift heavy packages regularly while maintaining safe lifting practicesThis role offers an engaging work environment where your driving expertise and dedication directly impact customer satisfaction.
