About this role
Main Responsibilities:
Provide voyage orders to the vessels and maintain a fruitful relationship with the vessels commandAppoint port agents, surveyors and vendors. Monitoring their performance.Understand cargo intake optimization and control stowage plansOptimize the bunkering plan in collaboration with the bunker deskMaintain the voyage management system data accuracy (IMOS) and provide payment/invoicing instructionsUnderstand the voyages P&L, keep it accurateMonitor the vessels route and performanceResolve disputes and claimsContribute to process and practices improvementsSupport the commercial teamNurture a positive working relationship with the various stakeholdersSupport and coach the junior operatorsSupport the Vessel Operations, Team Lead in his absence
Experience:
At least 6 years of experience in time charter vessel operations
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, or a related discipline.
Languages:
Fluent in English is a must
Soft skills:
