Main Responsibilities
This is an 18-month program designed to equip you with foundational knowledge and professional skills in one of our business platforms, with rotation across various functions such as trade execution, research and marketing/trading. Through practical projects and mentoring from business leaders, you would gain deeper understanding of the business and competencies that are essential to furthering your career growth.
Depending on individual performance, you could expect to develop professionally in commodities research, trading, marketing roles after the program and beyond.
Key Department Rotations and Responsibilities:
Trading:
Monitor daily trading environment and predict market movementSupport the team on completion and execution of trades efficiently and accuratelySupport the team on deals with new clientsKeep the commercial team informed of relevant issues with their customersFollow market movements and support decision-makingPerform detailed data analysis and valuationCreate dynamic and intuitive dashboards to support business reporting and analytics
Marketing
Enhance technical skills in derivatives and physical marketsAbide by the company’s risk control policy and execution procedureFollow up contract execution and work with related (credit/contracts/logistics) teams to solve problemsResearch:
Process and analyse information, develop relevant databases and synthesize research and report findings in a clear and informative structureManage statistical data in commodities balance sheets and conduct macroeconomic monitoringContribute new insights and independent ideas to the teamAssist researchers and traders with the commercial research and trading activitiesProvide market data to research teamSustainability
Assess the risks associated with sustainability issues, such as climate change, water scarcity and labor rights violations in LDC value chainsSupport the company to comply with relevant laws and standards relative to sustainability (e.g. EU Deforestation Regulation, Sustainable certification Standards etc). 1-2 years of work experience as a Trading Assistant or in Business Development team in multinational corporations is preferred. Recent graduates with strong potential of Trading/ Business Development business, from all degree disciplines and with strong academic records are welcome to applyStrong problem solving and numerical/analytical skillsWell communication in both Vietnamese & EnglishGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and thrive in uncertainty situationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and programming languages e.g., VBA, Python, Power BI is a plusPrior internship/ experience in commodities (cashew, green coffee, etc...) industry is a plusRequires entrepreneurial, good interpersonal skills & team playerPossess strong work ethics and humility, high level of ownership and responsibility Recommended Watching:
