Sourcing Raw Materials within the assigned product groupsEstablishing and maintaining effective supplier relationshipsNegotiating prices, terms and supplier agreements with company’s suppliersManaging contractsEvaluating cost analysis from suppliersMonitoring material stocks and ensuring timely supply of required materialsCoordinating planning and forecasting activities for Kronospan plants and communicating them to suppliersProcessing internal demands and registering purchase orders in company’s ERP systemTracking order acknowledgements, preparing and communicating shortage and backlog reports, ensuring visibility of potential interruptions, and proposing strategies to handle such situationsMonitoring market trends and communicating relevant updates to internal stakeholders
University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related technical fieldMinimum of 2 years experience in a high-performance business environment in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering or related function. Previous experience in an international environment considered an advantageProficiency in EnglishStrong negotiations skillsDeep interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well under pressure, and multi-taskExcellent analytical and reporting skillsHigh attention to detailProactive approach with the ability to take initiative and work independentlyResults-driven with a focus on continuous improvementProficiency in Microsoft Office applications - excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is requiredWillingness to travel abroad
