About this role
Software engineer (Back End) will work directly under Software Engineering Manager that will be playing a key role in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of software systems to help businesses be more efficient and provide a better service. Software Engineer might be responsible for writing and coding individual programmes or providing an entirely new software resources.
What you will be doing :
Develop, test, and implement new software programsDesign and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User InterfacesTest, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimizationIndependently install, customize and integrate commercial software packagesFacilitate root cause analysis of system issuesWork with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testingIdentify ideas to improve system performance and impact availabilityResolve complex technical design issuesDevelopment of technical specifications and plansAnalyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents. High degree of proficiency using server side language like Python/GolangExperience working with SQL, especially modern versions of PostgreSQLExperience with test driven developmentExperience in coaching team memberCommunication skills to interact with team members and support personnelBachelors' degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university Require at least 2 years of work experience
